SLPN Annual Gathering 2025
strengthening Partnerships amid Rapid Change
The Syria Lebanon Partnership Network met in Cheyenne WY September 16-18 at First Presbyterian Church in Cheyenne in their beautiful meeting space adjacent to the Sanctuary. Rev. Bob Garrard and his wife Holly, both members of the SLPN Steering Committee who live in Cheyenne. were our gracious hosts and were supported in their hospitality by members of the congregation.
In-person and online participants had two and a half days of fruitful conversation, prayers, and discernment around our Annual Gathering theme, Strengthening Partnerships Amid Rapid Change. Several partners in Lebanon and Syria connected with us via Zoom despite the time difference. Their presence truly enriched our Gathering.
Rev. Dr. Martin Accad, President of the Near East School of Theology, provided an overview of NEST’s recent developments and future plans. Click here to read and/or download Dr. Accad’s presentation.
A NESSL (National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon) pastor gave us a “plainspoken, heartfelt walk-through of Syria’s unfolding story.” Click here to read and/or download “From Ashes to Hope.”
